WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US
Review for Escada, with a little bit about MumtazI came across Escada in a little shop while visiting Salem, Mass. I saw on the counter displayed with her two sisters, Mumtaz and Naseem. I walked over, picked up the bottle, paid for it, and didn’t open it till later that evening at our hotel. I’m not sure why I didn’t stop to smell it before buying it, I suppose I just went with my gut feeling, and boy was it right!Escada is splendid, and the description on the website is on point. She is very much a light, sweet, almost forget she’s there type of scent – but once you’ve smelled her, she’s hard to forget! She’s earthy, and incredibly pleasing. I once read a description for a man’s cologne worn by the English actor Eddie Redmayne. It was described as quiet with an essence of mystery and intrigue; it’s a scent that invites one to come closer, to really take it in. Escada is absolutely this! Beautiful, quiet, yet stirring, inviting you to come closer.I ordered another bottle of Escada, which arrived within a few days. I also received a sample of her sister scent, Mumtaz.Mumtaz is just as delightful, and exotic, but she is slightly musky and playfully sexy. She is the outgoing sister. Both Escada and Mumtaz can be described as “oriental florals”, light, sweet, and aquatic. Unlike standard perfumes, and some oils, they last because the quality of the oils used by Adia is very good.I’ve found myself wearing both, although I do tend to wear Escada just a bit more. They have both become my scents.Marie, Los Angeles
